Japanese Little Big Girls Handbag...
I love Japanese fabrics.
The Karp fish is a main print on a navy background. I added a fish embellishment on the side and a pocket on the front. The inside is strips on navy Japanese fabrics and lots of space.
Let me know what you think?

Little Handbags... 2 more designs
Thank you for everyone that has visited my blog site and welcome to anyone who is visiting me for the first time.
I have been sewing madly, making little handbags for a market stall that I hopefully will start very soon but felt I haven't enough stock to sell. In total now I have 14 Little bags and I'm starting on the medium size handbag of a similar design to sell, which is also a very versatile and useful size.
I hope you like and enjoy my Little handmade bags which I have designed for the girl/woman that likes to find her things inside at a glance and doesn't really like to carry a heap of junk in her handbag then you will love my bags.
They may look small but they are quite spacious inside and the pockets help keeping your things in order. The magnetic snap closure is great as it helps keep the bag closed (obviously) but I like how it just snaps closed and you only need to pull it to open it no fiddly zips or buttons.
If you are interested in purchasing one of the Little Girl Handbags I have them for sale on website www.madeit.com/Loubeelou. I have also just added Paypal for easier payment method.
I would also LOVVVVEEE some feedback on what you think... good or bad it all helps.
Please see below for my two new additions to the Little girls Handbag for the little girl in all of us range...
This bag was made with a younger girl in mind with the fabric being childish but I love this print. |
The inside print matches the Babushka fabric outside. Very spacious as you can see, nice bright colours and always two pockets inside. |
Tried a different approach to the design with simple colours. Black, red and white. |
The inside has two little red pockets to stand out for easy location of your keys. Light and bright fabrics |

THE LITTLE HANDBAG FOR THE LITTLE GIRL INSIDE ALL OF US...
I am so enjoying making this bag that I have used up almost all of my Fat quarters. I'm up to my 7th bag. These two bags below are number 3 & 4 but it has been bad weather up here so I haven't had a chance to take any nice photos' of bags 5 & 6.
I have settled with the design of just one long shoulder strap and the magnetic closure inside the top instead of a flap. I also like the original design of the sides pin-tucked instead of the press-stud gathering. It sits snuggly under your arm and the single strap makes it easy to throw over your shoulder. Having the simple closure at the top instead of the flap you can just pull it open and the magnet will close it up just as easy.
Please see below some more pictures of my design for the Big Girls Handbag.

MORE NEW LITTLE BAGS
Hello...!!!
Would just like to introduce two new bags in bright lovely fabrics.
The photos show front and back.
I really love this pattern, it's so much fun to make each one individual to the type of fabric used and add different embelishments. The white one has little insects like caterpillars, butterflies, lady beetles, bees, snails also toadstools and flowers. I have added a silver little bee for the embelishment. The other one I decided after this photo was taken to add a pink clay heart on the flap closure.
I'm making 8 new ones with these two finished and almost finished the 3rd.
I will endeavour to post 2 bags as I finish them.
Hope you like them...

Below are the some of the fabrics that I have in stock to make an individual personal bag for you.
Some of the fabrics colours and patterns have been photographed together as these are a perfect match for the outer and inside of a bag.
This is just the start... below are some different styles to choose from. The name of the fabric was on most of them but there are a few that have no name in this case I have stated the colours in the fabric. There are still more fabric swatches to come, so stay tuned...
