CITRUS SUN-BURST RANGE

THE BIGGEST OF BEACH BAGS ...

The Beach bag below is so large that you could also use it as a Travel Bag or Over-night Bag.
It has plenty of large pockets inside, one side with a zip closure and the other just a split pocket.
Large enough for the biggest of beach towels and all your beach going needs.
 CITRUS SUN-BURST HANDBAG

This bag is a hard sided bag with a flat hard bottom. Sits up and has lots of room inside, lined with a bright turquoise blue.

The fabric is a Kaffe Fasset and I just love the orange colour the most, it stands out from the others.

I didn't have a pattern for this bag so it's a one off design... (next one won't look the same...)
But I love it so much I couldn't part with this one.

I'll be taking more photos as soon as the weather clears up a little here. It's just so over-cast and windy. Also need to find myself a small model to show how small the Dolly Bags are.

Remember you can also view all my bags of Pinterest if you search for Handmade Bag Addictions.

Hope this finds everyone well???  Love to you all and thank you for looking at my blog.

The start of my Bag Design company...

LOUBEELOU DESIGNS
BAG ADDICTION

I would firstly like to thank my Mother because without her inspiration to create, design and make pretty things I would not be sitting at the sewing machine on a beautiful sunny 30degree day.

Recently returning from a visit to my Mums (I was there for 10 days, we had so much fun, creating in her sewing room and having cups of tea, yakking away like long lost friends and going for brisk walks.)
I decided to throw myself into trying to make something of this bag making obsession and see if I could make more bags for people (I think I give away too many bags and stuff just like my mum).

I then decided to call my company 'Loubeelou Designs' as I used to get called Loubee Lou (I still do) and the computer has been over-heating from all the labels, posters and card designs I have been playing with.

I live in Port Douglas, Far north Queensland and there is a Sunday morning markets here which I am planning on opening but just haven't gotten that far yet.

So... Welcome to my Bag and Craft blog site.
I will post all my designs of bags and other tip bits and pieces.

This is one of my first bags

It's my line of bags I'm calling 'The Little Girls Handbag'.  I have already made this in heaps of really nice fabrics (and thanks to my last trip to my mothers) I have purchased lots and lots of great little girls fabric.

Here are a few more of my 'Little Girls Handbag' in other fabric colours.

I love making this design. So much so I can't
decide how to do the closure. I've done a rounded flap, an oval shape, a tie up and just the basic clasp closure.

The newest one I finished yesterday is this one on the right with the orange heart on the closure flap.  Making this one with a single handle instead of the two straps on the later versions.

I first made this pattern as a very large beach bag.  Making it in 3 different colours; Bright blue, Light pink and a brown with pinkish flowers. The brown one I made different by just not bringing in the sides which makes it a great bag to take to the shops, it fits so much in it.

Here are some photo's of the Pink and Bright blue 'Large Beach/Shopping Bag'

The other day I finished a medium size bag in a great bright blue with pychodelic shapes.

I really love this pattern, I have changed it so many times and have used lots of fabric.

So now I look forward to sharing all my future ideas and inspirations with you.

Faithfully yours
